About Us

Innersights refers to insights that we experience within ourselves. This is different from the way we usually receive information. Usually we're told what to believe about something or someone. Most of us are taught not to listen too our inner voice or inner sense of knowing, but to listen to what other people are telling us like our parents, teachers, or the media.

Inner sights are different, they are like when you have felt that a light bulb has gone on inside your head, and you know the truth about something. Or when you stop trying to think of anything--then suddenly something pops into your head. At other times you may hear something, and you know that it's true because you get this chill that goes up your spine. We sometimes refer to these experiences as our intuition, or a pshycic experience, premonition, or sometimes even a vision.

We like to explore this kind of knowledge, and we hope that you will freely exchange ideas and thinking with a network of people that want to share what they think as well. We want to provide a comfortable cyber room for this kind of conversation to happen.

Innersights started back in 1992 by opening an office in San Juan Capistrano California; offering meditation classes, seminars, PLR workshops, hypnotherapy, and astrology readings and classes. The website was started in 1997 and was called “New Age,” because the company name was not available at that time. The site offered books and CD’s for sale, and featured a question and answer line called “Ask the Genie.” Today you can still see our featured books by Thomas Emerson, a fourm, and our Q&A page. We hope to get you thinking, and generate an insightful dialog between you and others. All are welcome!
